World on a Plate Spice Set from SKORDO and Cookbook Collection

This month we are celebrating Eat Your Books’ tenth birthday with special promotions! Today’s giveaway features five of my favorite books from Hardie Grant and Quadrille publishers (they allowed me to pick!) along with a set of spices from Skordo and two recipe kits. I learned about Skordo when a friend was visiting Maine and happened upon a shop that she knew I would love. Skordo (Greek for garlic) is a family owned business with two shops, one in Portland and another in Freeport, Maine. As soon as I checked out their website, I placed an order and contacted the shop about doing a promotion for our EYB members. Since then I’ve placed two additional orders. I am wild about their Maine blueberry pork rub and blueberry sugar and cannot wait to dive into the recipe kits I purchased: Spiced molten chocolate cake and Kue Lapis: Indonesian spiced layer cake. Their items are packed with care and once you tear into a box you are enveloped by a world of aromas and culinary possibilities. Not only does Skordo sell spices, rubs and kits but they also offer an assortment of kitchen products, cookbooks and more! Their rewards program is something to take advantage off – for every purchase you earn coupons towards additional orders. There are other ways to earn points as well! If you love Skordo as much as I do, you will be earning points and discovering new spice blends and recipes in no time. Skordo is offering one of our members a World on a Plate Set along with two recipe kits: Chicken Tagine with Chickpeas, Pine Nuts, and Olives Kit and Amchoor Chana – Chickpeas with Mango Powder Kit in our giveaway below.
Hardie Grant and Quadrille consistently publish books that speak to me. Above are five of my favorite titles from 2019 along with links to reviews and EYBD previews. The publisher is offering one member a set of these titles that feature global recipes and a wealth of recipes.

Skordo is offering one EYB Member a set of the World on a Plate spice box as well as two recipe kits mentioned above. Hardie Grant/Quadrille is offering one EYB Member the five cookbook titles listed above. This contest is open to members in the US only.  Entry options include answering the following questions in a blog comment here on the post.

Which product at Skordo would you like to try?

Which cookbook above are you most excited about?

Please note that you must be logged into the Rafflecopter contest before posting or your entry won’t be counted. For more information on this process, please see our step-by-step help post and this forum post. Once you log in and enter your member name you will be directed to the next entry option – the blog comment. After that, there are additional options that you can complete for more entries.

Skorda looks like an amazing resource – thanks for introducing me. For my cooking, I’m very interested in the Heat selection of chile spices. For holiday gifts, I love the Rose Streamlined Spreaders and the Angler Pint Glasses? Thx

As for which cookbook I’m most excited about – they all look great. Since I know NOTHING about the cuisine of the Black Sea region, I’ll vote for that.

So much great foodstuffs there, but I keep going back to the Seashell Mini Spoons. I have an odd fascination for tiny serveware.
