Cookbook Fest, British Library Food Season, EYBD Previews, grilling and BBQ recipes and more
May 24, 2024 by JennyThe first Cookbook Fest will be held in Napa, California from June 21st to the 23rd. Situated in the heart of Napa Wine Country at the whimsical Feast It Forward, Cookbook Fest is the premiere festival where every recipe, story, and ingredient takes center stage. The festival is presented by Salt + Spine, Feast it Forward and Feed Your People.
Check out the full list of authors who are coming. This list includes Sarah Johnson, author of Fruitful; Tyler Florence, celebrity chef and author of numerous cookbooks including this month’s American Grill; Kristina Cho, author of Mooncakes and Milk Bread and the upcoming Chinese Enough; and Jessie Sheehan, baker and author of several cookbooks including Salty, Cheesy, Herby, Crispy Snackable Bakes scheduled for September release. Omnivore Books will be in the Book Village overseeing book signings.
Ticket prices range from general admission for one day, full access packages, Live with Tyler and more. You may purchase tickets here.
It is Food Season at the British Library and this weekend is when all the action is taking place. May 25th and 26th is packed with author events, demos and more. Check our Calendar linked above and visit the British Library site for more information.

Just another reminder, the new season of The Great American Baking Show begins airing on Roku on May 24th and can be watched for free online. Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith both return as judges with Ellie Kemper and Zach Cherry returning as hosts
In the US, Memorial Day (May 27th) celebrates all our military who have died in service and for many marks the beginning of the summer season.
