We are pleased to announce that Nicola Galloway’s Homegrown Kitchen: Everyday Recipes for Eating Well, published last year in New Zealand is our latest EYBD book. As a special incentive, the publisher is offering digital access to those who buy this book before December 31st. For members who have the book on their bookshelf already, see our comments below.
Nicola’s book is stunning with beautiful photography. Her goal is
to guide us toward better eating beginning with stocking your
pantry with staples made from scratch and crafting meals that are
comforting, nutritious and beautiful. As a busy mom herself, she
worked to find the simplest ways to make everyday staples such as
bread, yoghurt and condiments and she shares her secrets with us.
Dozens of recipes for staples from Sourdough starter to Sauerkraut
are shared along with recipes for meals from breakfast to dinner to
dessert.
This title would make a lovely holiday gift this season for the
new cook or the experienced cook who is looking for guidance for
creating pantry staples to wholesome meals.
