The Best Cookbook of 2018

I’m basing my Best Cookbook of 2018 announcement on Yotam Ottolenghi’s track record. When you have a sure-fire winning horse, you put all your pre-order money on it.

The prolific, well-loved chef and author, has an new title slated for September. Right now it is labeled as Simple: Ottolenghi 2018 which you can preorder. When more information is available on this title, we will update.

Check out our Best of the Best lists where Ottolenghi’s received the distinction of best book each year that he had a new cookbook released.

There are so many exciting titles being released this year, my preview post will be continually updated to keep you in the loop (look for updates this afternoon).

*Information on the errata sheet and replacement copies of the US/CA version of Sweet can be found here.

Details about it are up on Amazon UK

Yotam Ottolenghi’s award-winning recipes are always a celebration: an unforgettable combination of abundance, taste and surprise. SIMPLE is no different, with 120 brand-new dishes that contain all the inventive elements and favour combinations that Ottolenghi is loved for, but with minimal hassle for maximum joy.

Bursting with colourful photography for every recipe, SIMPLE showcases Yotam’s standout dishes that will suit whatever type of cooking you find easy – whether that’s getting wonderful food on the table in under 30 minutes, using just one pot to make a delicious meal, or a flavoursome dish that can be prepared ahead and then served when you’re ready.

These brilliant, flavour-forward dishes are all SIMPLE in at least one (but very often more than one) way:

S – short on time: less than 30 minutes
    I – 10 ingredients or less
    M – make ahead
    P – pantry
    L – lazy
E – easier than you think

SIMPLE is the stunning new cookbook we have all been wishing for: Yotam Ottolenghi’s vibrant food made easy.

Sounds like another winner to me
