Cookbook Giveaway – Hello, My Name is Ice Cream

Hello, My Name Is Ice Cream: The Art and Science of the Scoop by Dana Cree shares more than 100 recipes for ice cream flavors and revolutionary mix-ins from the twice James Beard-nominated pastry chef. Dana has a number of events scheduled to celebrate this book so check to see if she is near you.

    Ricky's coffee pretzel toffee. Although I will say that even on page 1, as I looked through each title, I wanted to make every single one. Then I noticed there were 6 pages for the index, and I immediately knew that I was going to be in trouble with this cookbook ๐Ÿ™‚

    I'm afraid I didn't get too far in the recipe index before it caught my eye – Bourbon Butterscotch Ice Cream. Holy brain freeze, it sounds yummy. I did look at all the recipes before posting my comment.

    So many to choose from and so hard to narrow it it down to one. I would start by making one from each category: I picked Early Grey Ice cream and pineapple jasmine sherbet to start with. then I would follow up with the hisbiscus frozen yogurt

    Orange rhubarb frozen yogurt i am into rhubarb right now i have used it as a vegetable , mixed it with other fruits in preserves i would love to try in an ice cream

    Cinnamon basil ice cream. I had basil ice cream a few years ago from a creamery in Berkeley, CA. Life changing and definite my favorite flavor now. This recipe is definitely one I would try first!!!

    okay, no, i can't choose one, this is going to be a list. green cardamom, burnt honey, pumpkin-sage, goat cheese, avocado grapefruit sherbet, fresh ginger frozen yogurt, honey chai frozen yogurt, marzipan cake, cardamom, plum, and marzipan, cherry puree…i love this book.
