Half Baked Harvest Cookbook – Promotion

Half Baked Harvest Cookbook: Recipes from My Barn in the Mountains by Tieghan Gerard shares the popular blogger’s fresh take on comfort food, stunning photography, and her charming life in the Colorado mountains near me. (I think I need a barn – if only for my cookbooks.)

Tieghan has a knack for punching up the ordinary and transforming it into something spectacular and the entire book is just that – spectacular. I want to cook all the food and hopefully learn how to present food as beautifully.

We are featuring Half Baked Harvest in our Eat Your Books Cookbook Club this November (find more information here).

Roasted garlic and tomato-braised lamb shanks with parmesan mashers; a Chocolate caramel cake (to give up calorie counting for), and No-guilt broccoli fettuccine alfredo (to make up for eating the cake) are a few examples of the recipes here. Each recipe has a little something extra: dress up your cheese board with real honeycomb or finish off a salad with spicy, crispy sweet potato fries. Each dish reflects the creativity that has become the author’s signature and all 125 recipes share a striking photograph. Healthy recipes, decadent dishes and others that fall somewhere in the middle make this an appealing book for many.
