This has been on my wishlist for awhile – I'd like to try the Ham, Havarti & chive breakfast casserole.

  • lascatx  on  April 11, 2017

The bread in that photo — espeically if it is the cardamom bread. Cardamom took a new place in my life after having a morning bun that was laminated dough baked in a bun form and coated in an orange, cinnnamon, cardamom sugar. Good thing the bakery is 1700 miles from my home.

  • HokieCarrie  on  April 11, 2017

Once again there are too many for me to choose just one. I love sugared gingersnaps (Swedish pepparkakor), so I'd like to try to make them myself. But then there's also ham, Havarti & chive breakfast casserole which sounds delicious and the Lucia buns (Swedish Lussekatter) for St. Lucia Day.

  • lascatx  on  April 11, 2017

Nope — its the maple pecan rings, so that and the cardomon bread. Technically one will have to be first — or I will be working both mixers simultaneously. It could happen…..

  • lgroom  on  April 14, 2017

I'll try the braided cardamom braid first.

  • anya_sf  on  April 14, 2017

Possibly maple pecan rings, as it looks fantastic. But I will also try pulla to see how it compares to my standard recipe (a cross between Beatrice Ojakangas's recipe and my mother's).
