The challah, I have always wanted to try my hand at making. This just may give me the inspiration to do it.

  • amc  on  October 20, 2013

Brisket. I'm always looking for a recipe better than my mother-in-law's, even though hers is the best. (As was she.) Not out of disloyality, but to see if it is possible. I also like the idea of brisket pita sandwiches, combining the Ashkenazic brisket with Sephardic pita.

I'm interested in the Chocolate Cherry Cake recipe. I love chocolate, and I want to try the dress it up option.

  • sailor  on  October 21, 2013

I'd love to try the Butternut Squash Mac ' n' cheese. It's great to find ways to put vegies in a recipe that children always love and the Mac 'n' Cheese Muffin Cups sounds really interesting too. All of the recipes sound great.

  • Queezle_Sister  on  October 21, 2013

Miso-glazed salmon sounds pretty awesome to me. Miso has emerged as the best way to excite my teenage kid's palate (though bacon does a pretty good job too).

  • sir_ken_g  on  October 21, 2013

Miso-Glazed Salmon….. Always looking for new ways to use salmon – and Japanese at that.

  • rlmiller  on  October 21, 2013

I'm all in for the clear chicken soup with julienned vegetables. Sometimes a well executed simple recipe is far more satisfying than something new and trendy.

  • FuzzyChef  on  October 21, 2013

To me? Really only the challah. But I'm entering the contest for my Jewish relatives.

  • Elena Rose  on  October 21, 2013

Brisket, because I always like a new way to make it!

  • hihelen_westbrook  on  October 22, 2013

Chocolate cherry cake. Chocolate = good, cherries = good. Also my fiance claims to make the best chocolate cake ever. A challenge!!

  • chawkins  on  October 22, 2013

Who can resist a gooey chocolate cake with cherries?

  • kne  on  October 22, 2013

They all sound great, but I would love the mac & cheese. The butternut squash would be an excuse to tell myself it's healthy.

  • Yarnia  on  October 22, 2013

Brisket. The flavor combo sounds interesting.

  • JaneC  on  October 23, 2013

They all sound good, but I'd probably make the chicken soup first. I love my traditional chicken noodle soup, but an option that includes vegetables (other than carrots and celery) would be welcome.

  • maisie_grn  on  October 23, 2013

I love challah. Tempt me with 10 types of it and I may just convert to the anti-paleo diet.

  • tcjanes  on  October 23, 2013

Have to go with the brisket recipe. Can anything compete with beef brisket…? Don't think so.

  • Aggie92  on  October 23, 2013

Definitely the challah. I love to make challah and am always looking for the perfect recipe. Ten variations would keep me busy for quite a while.

  • Diabolical_DrZ  on  October 23, 2013

Challah, can never really get what I want in store or bakery bought, might just try to learn to bake my own. I wouldn't say this about most other kinds of bread.

  • trudys_person  on  October 25, 2013

Definitely the Butternut Squash Mac ' n' Cheese – one of my favourite dishes, souped up! Squash, cheese and pasta – how could you go wrong?

  • pgarcia  on  October 26, 2013

The miso-glazed salmon – I love anything with miso!

  • jaelsne  on  October 26, 2013

Brisket. May make it along with a turkey for Thanksgivingkkah!

  • RuthGo  on  October 27, 2013

The challah. I think if I could make my own, the feeling of accomplishment would be HUGE. Baking always seems miraculous.

  • boardingace  on  October 27, 2013

    Challah bread 🙂

  • pokarekare  on  October 28, 2013

Chicken soup – a perfect chicken stock lifts this soup to the heavens!

  • lmalter  on  October 30, 2013

Garlic honey brisket— who doesn't like brisket and the flavor profile sounds unique.

  • infotrop  on  October 30, 2013

Garlic honey brisket for me too. Can't believe it would top my grandmother's recipe, but would love to serve it to my Dad.

  • sarahcooks  on  October 30, 2013

Definitely the brisket – we're getting into the time of year I have slow braised meats on my mind.

  • LeePicard  on  October 30, 2013

Ten variations of Challah! I'd like to try them all. Can they rival Julia Child's completely non-traditional version (uses milk and butter!)? Julia's is one of my favorites although I make it infrequently and I would love to find some fun "make all the time" parve challah recipes.

  • ae.bell  on  October 30, 2013

Butternut Squash Mac 'n' Cheese because I'm feeling indulgent

  • Softa  on  October 30, 2013

    Garlic-Honey Brisket…and definitely the challah!!!!!

  • jonahgail  on  October 30, 2013

    Ten variations on challah!

  • RonaSLP  on  October 30, 2013

The brisket…because every Jewish mother needs a signature brisket recipe, and I don't have one yet! 🙂

  • rottman  on  October 30, 2013

Butternut Squash Mac 'n' Cheese. Always looking for ways to make comfort food healthier for my kids and grandkids.

  • jane nmi  on  October 30, 2013

Gooey Chocolate Cherry Cake.. Two things that I just love by themselves and even better together.

  • jaxmiller  on  October 31, 2013

Miso-glazed Salmon – I love anything and everything with Salmon, and Miso is a new addition to my cupboard – the combination sounds divine!

  • SLane  on  October 31, 2013

•Crystal Clear Chicken Soup with Julienned Vegetables and Angel Hair sounds just lovely and healthy

  • JHEverett  on  October 31, 2013

Chicken Soup, largely because the description makes is sound magical.

  • lynnpaik  on  October 31, 2013

Sounds like perfect comfort food – creamy, sweet squash with mac and cheese.

  • Md309  on  October 31, 2013

Challah! I'm still on a search for the perfect one…. maybe one of the 10 will be a my winner.

  • Rudy1215  on  October 31, 2013

Challah. By itself it's heaven but what I do with day old challah! Oh my! Bread puddings and French toast

  • Gunnygoo  on  October 31, 2013

Garlic Honey Brined Brisket. I can almost taste the carmellized honey crust. Would be divine with a nice Challah.

  • jd5761  on  October 31, 2013

Garlic Honey Brisket, garlic and honey are two of my favourites and I wonder how they would work together

  • kimk  on  October 31, 2013

Gooey chocolate cherry cake. Just the title makes me salivate!

  • annieski  on  November 3, 2013

yum, to butternut squash macs & cheese!

  • Rosesrpink50  on  November 3, 2013

Crystal Clear Chicken Soup with Julienned Vegetables and Angel Hair sounds devine and I always turn to chicken soup as a medicinal cure.

  • krobbins426  on  November 4, 2013

Challah. I'm curious about 10 variations.

  • GillB  on  November 4, 2013

Miso-glazed salmon. Quick and easy dinner when late home from work.

  • vinochic  on  November 5, 2013

Butternut squash mac and cheese. Its fall, so right now its all about squash!!

  • RobinCR  on  November 5, 2013

Got to be the Crystal Clear Chicken Soup. With winter fast approaching, nothing is better for a cozy supper in front of the fire place.

  • hillsboroks  on  November 5, 2013

I have to vote for the salmon with miso. We love both salmon and miso and the combination sounds devine. I especially like the dress it up/dress it down options for the recipes. Salmon, miso and avocado would also be a great combination.

  • kimtrev  on  November 6, 2013

10 variations on challah? sign me up!

  • DelishDi  on  November 13, 2013

Challah. I've never tried making it but I love eating it. So, 10 variations sounds intriguing to me.

  • Zosia  on  November 13, 2013

Brisket. I've only made it once using a very basic recipe. Although it was delicious, I'm ready for more exciting versions.
