1,900 EYBD Previews, The Big Bakeover, recipes and more

This week we hit another EYB Milestone! We now have 1,900 EYBD Previews uploaded to our site. As we state below, all Preview recipes are indexed, whether the full book is indexed or not. Any Preview recipe can be added to your Bookshelf.

Just in case you missed it, I recently saw a commercial for The Big Bakeover a new show starring GBBO winner Nancy Birtwhistle. This show airs on the CW here in the United States on Friday evenings and has Nancy visiting struggling bakeries around the US with her team. She identifies the issues that may be hurting the bakery business and then gives their bakeries and menus a revamp! You can stream/view on-demand episodes that you have missed. I watched the first episode and found her absolutely charming. Check your local schedules.

Nancy has written three books, the third of which is slated for October release: Sizzle & Drizzle – The Green Edition: Over 100 Essential Bakes, Recipes and Tips. I own her first title Sizzle & Drizzle: Tips for a Modern Day Home-Maker which is filled with great recipes and tips and tricks for homemaking.

Lastly, I belong to a group on Facebook called The Wedding Cookie Table Community. Another member of that group (and personal friend) who knows my obsession with cookies, notified me that the group has compiled a collection of their May 2024 cookie college recipes (you may see photos of the recipes contained in the book here) and are now offering that printed book for sale. (Cookie College is the annual gathering of the Wedding Cookie Table Community.)

The 176 page book is printed on heavier stock, has a cardstock front and back cover, is spiral bound and has a clear plastic presentation sheet covering the front and back. You may order the books here if you are interested. I am only sharing because I know our Members are cookie lovers and may be interested – and of course I had to order a copy because – cookies!
