White Lily wants your recipes, author events, EYBD Previews, recipes, and more

In 2021, The White Lily Cookbook was published featuring over 70 of the most loved recipes from the White Lily Test Kitchen. This cookbook explored biscuit history and time-honored techniques, woven together with striking photography. Now White Lily is looking for your favorite recipes for their next title. Submit your recipes here.

There are a few author events that have been recently added to bookstore calendars that I wish to share with you.

On July 15th, GBBO darling, Kim-Joy will be in Los Angeles. She will be at a Meet & Greet at Now Serving. Susan Spungen’s event at the Union Greenmarket was postponed due to air quality issues from the Canadian wildfires a few weeks back. Her event has now been rescheduled for July 15th. Anna Voloshyna, author of BUDMO!: Recipes from a Ukrainian Kitchen will be at Joan’s on 3rd in Los Angeles on July 27th.

I have updated all the bookstore and cooking school sites, so be sure to check those out for new events such as: Claire Ptak will be at Omnivore Books on July 26 and there is a Taste event at Rizzoli on August 17th featuring Natasha Pickowicz with Claire Saffitz. As of this date, Erika Council has two events scheduled for her new book Still We Rise which happens to be outstanding! Waterstones and Topping and Company have new events to note as well.
