After waking up to six inches of fresh snow this morning, I knew no one could pull a better April Fool’s day prank than Mother Nature herself. However, I did scroll through several social media accounts to see if I could find some good ones to share with our Members but did not see many. Either the algorithms failed and hid them from me, or perhaps social media managers found it too difficult to compete with real news stories. The few I found:

- Food52: The site shared the “recipe” for their best cooked water. I thought this one was clever, especially the many steps that were involved. Chef’s kiss.
- King Arthur Baking: a commercial for Fleur perfume. This one had a slow build, but they did nail the over-the-top feel of boutique perfume commercials. Nicely done.
- The State of New Jersey posted a food-themed joke involving pork roll, aka Taylor ham, stating that the state was installing the world’s first edible statue featuring the meat.
