Best sleeper books of 2022

Last year was a tremendous year for cookbooks so there are a lot of books to be excited about. For new cooks— but also for a not-so-new cook like me— I really liked “Ready Set Cook” by Dawn Perry. It starts with a a lot of great elements of good food, the kind of things that the latest OTK cookbook has— sauces, dressings, crunchy additions to meals— and then has a variety of foods and even things to do with leftovers. The food I’ve made has all turned out delicious, and she really walks you through it, which is why I just gave a copy to a new cook.
