This is very sad news. She will be missed.

I discovered Julie’s blog very early and enjoyed reading about her cooking adventures. She inspired me to cook more recipes from my existing cookbooks and laugh through both my successes and failures. Her adventures in aspic, as she reluctantly made food she knew she would hate, kept me from trying to cook everything in a cookbook! A vodka gimlet might be in order tonight.
