Dumplings and Noodles – Cookbook Giveaway

Dumplings and noodles. What more does a girl need to be happy? Well, maybe a good cake and a man like those dudes in the romance novels – a girl can dream. Dumplings and noodles certainly are more attainable and especially those recipes in Pippa Middlehurst’s new book. I’ve been off my feed since I had a dental extraction earlier this week and it is torture reviewing these books while I am living on yogurt and scrambled eggs. Next week brings on the chewable food and maybe I’ll start with Best Sichuan chilli oil wontons or the Dan Dan noodles. 

The author provides a great background of dumplings and noodles as well as menu planning ideas. There are loads of photographs to guide us through pleating and folding (not that mine will ever look that good) but again, a girl can dream. Pippa covers making a variety of noodles from scratch with more photographs of those techniques!
