News from the Jacques Pépin Foundation

In 2016, iconic chef Jacques Pépin, along with his daughter Claudine Pépin and son-in-law Rollie Wesen, created The Jacques Pépin Foundation. The JPF supports community kitchens that offer free life skills and culinary training to adults with high barriers to employment, including previous incarceration, homelessness, substance abuse issues, low skill and education attainment and lack of work history. A couple of weeks ago, the JPF teased us with the announcement of an upcoming new “cookbook,” which was made available today.

Titled ‘Cook with Jacques and Friends’, it is an e-book that contains videos and recipes from 45 renowned chefs including José Andrés, Thomas Keller, Rachael Ray, Kwame Onwuachi, Daniel Boulud, Nina Compton, Tom Colicchio, Gail Simmons, Andrew Zimmern, Joanne Chang and many more. Buying an annual membership to the JPF gets you access to the e-book. The price for an annual membership at the lowest level is $40 USD. There are additional tiers available that offer more rewards including posters of Jacques Pépin artwork.

The video recipe book comes just in time for the holidays. With the e-book, you can cook along with the videos, print the recipes, or just binge watch the content, bookmarking your favorites. There is more than six hours of content in total featuring some of the world’s best chefs cooking in their own homes.
