The last two weeks: Cookout ideas, cookbook giveaways and previews and more

You may have noticed that we skipped last week’s roundup as the monthly newsletter had just been published. Today’s roundup will contain twice the information so I promise not to linger on any one topic. Here in the US, this weekend marks the official end of the summer season with our Labor Day holiday. Many Americans will be firing up the grill and gathering together in the backyard to celebrate (albeit with social distancing).

For brevity’s sake in this roundup, I’ll share a few cookout idea links for your weekend plans whether in the US for Labor Day or around the globe to celebrate the weekend!


The Last Two Weeks on our Blog

Over the last two weeks, I’ve shared the August 2020 EYB Cookbook Club Summary and the August 2020 New Cookbook Review. Also, the following posts were published: A review of Fairytale Baking, a review of Nourish Me Home, and my third Cookbook Tidbits. Giveaways posted include: The British Baking Cookbook Giveaway and USA Pans and 100 Cookies – Hardcover Cook Baking Box Giveaway. The looking forward to 2020 cookbook preview post and the Kindle cookbook deals are being continually updated.
