Own a piece of Martha Stewart’s history

Martha Stewart entertainingMartha Stewart fans now have another reason to get excited. Not only is she coming to Chopped, but now fans can own a piece of her history. Stewart is auctioning off props from her television shows for charity, specifically the Martha Stewart Center For Living (MSCL) at Mount Sinai Hospital. MSCL promotes access to health care resources for older adults and aims to enhance the public perception of aging.

This auction, administered by Kaminski Auction, will take place Saturday, May 5 & 6, 2018 at the Kaminski Auction gallery, 117 Elliott Street, RT. 62, Beverly, Massachusetts. There are opportunities for in person, phone, and online bidding through KaminskiLIVE, so even if you can’t travel to Massachusetts to witness the spectacle, you can still bid on items.

Stewart has been a taste-maker for decades and her eye for quality antiques is both well known and well respected. She is at least partially responsible for the popularity of items like milk glass, creamware, fiesta ware, jadeite, depression glass, and much more. Once she showcased such an item on her show or in her magazine, its value would rise as collectors scrambled to imitate her signature style.

Included in the auction are many of Stewart’s favorite pieces that she sold under the Martha Stewart Collection brand, in addition to dinnerware, cooking utensils, barware, planters, chairs, stools, and tables used on her television shows over the years.  For full details on preview times and how to register to bid for this exciting auction, visit www.kaminskiauctions.com
