‘Fixer Upper’ cookbook on the way
October 4, 2017 by DarcieIf you are a fan of HGTV’s show ‘Fixer Upper’ starring Chip and Joanna Gaines, this post is for you. Many viewers were saddened to learn that the show, in which the couple applies their signature style to remodel homes and businesses, was ending after the next season (Season 5). Now fans – and cookbook lovers – have something to look forward to, as Joanna recently announced that they are working on The Magnolia Table (you can preorder now).
Joanna’s Instagram feed often features her updated takes on comfort-food classics like macaroni and cheese and brownie pie. She posted the shot above on September 22, when they announced the forthcoming cookbook. It will tie into the restaurant that she and Chip are opening in Waco, Texas, called Magnolia Table. We know precious little else about the book, other than it will feature recipes for the two above-mentioned items.
There is no word on when fans can expect the cookbook to hit store shelves, or if anyone helped write the cookbook. Stay tuned to the EYB cookbook roundups, as I am sure Jenny will cover The Magnolia Table as the release date nears.
