Mario Batali working on new show
August 1, 2017 by Darcie
It seems that Mario Batali isn’t busy enough being on the daytime talk show The Chew along with running several restaurants and Eataly locations. Eater reports that the chef has started filming on a new television program.
We don’t know much about the show other than the fact that Batali was shooting on location in northern Michigan. However, a Batali representative confirmed that a show was in the works with production company Zero Point Zero, which also also produces Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown and Mind of a Chef.
Batali frequently vacations in Michigan, so Eater speculates that “perhaps this new series – or at least one episode of the show – will highlight the local culture of his home away from home.” We will stay tuned to see what other details emerge about the new program.
