Cookbook Giveaway – Field Peas & Dinner Déjà Vu

Jennifer Book is the author of two cookbooks. Her first cookbook, Field Peas to Foie Gras: Southern Recipes with a French Accent shares recipes that will help you create healthy, flavorful meals for your family. While her Southern upbringing and French training is the foundation for culinary exploration in her second cookbook, Dinner Déjà Vu: Southern Tonight, French Tomorrow. In the latter title, Booker uses one list of fresh ingredients to create two meals, one Southern and one French. Combined grocery lists provide time-saving tools for recipes from cocktails to desserts and everything in between.

For more information on these titles, please see our review and recipe post

We are pleased to offer three sets of these two titles to our EYB Members in the US. One of the entry options is to answer the following question in the comments section of this blog post:

Which recipe from either index would you make first?

Please note that you must be logged into the Rafflecopter contest before posting or your entry won’t be counted. If you are not already a Member, you can join at no cost. The contest ends at midnight on May 31st, 2017

The Pork En Croute looks fabulous.

This was tough. From Field Peas to Foi Gras I'd make the Lavender Cake with Fresh Lemon Glaze. From Dinner Deja Vu I'd make the Shortbread with Peach Preserves. And I didn't think I had a sweet tooth!

The question that you have on the widget

"Check out the author inteview [sic] post and of books that David mentioned as those he is cooking from now – which one sounds like a book you would like to cook from."

appears to be a left over from the David Leite post (there is no David that I can see in this book or the review).

So, I'm going to do what the others are doing and answer the question that you usually ask; which is difficult because there is no index link.

So, from the review I would say that as a New Oreleans girl I am VERY interested on Ms. Booker and her books. I want to make her Pickled Shrimp & Onions from Field Peas to Foie Gras: Southern Recipes with a French Accent by Jennifer Hill Booker.

I am drawn in by the Field Peas to Foie Gras title… I am a southern girl with some French traditional cooking training myself and love everything about the concept of that book. The entire contents of that book looks fantastic!
