Cookbook Giveaway – Provence to Pondicherry

Provence to Pondicherry: Recipes from France and Faraway from the incomparable Tessa Kiros is pleasure wrapped in words and photographs. Tessa’s books are journeys to glorious locales filled with beautiful people and food. I have almost all off her titles and working on procuring the few that I need.

    Everything sounds interesting. However, since I'm sitting here considering what to do with an English beef roast, I'm thinking I'd love to try the Daube de Boeuf first. Then I'll graduate down the line – sides, salads, etc

    Yum! I've been to all the places in this book and am excited to see the recipes together. I would try the barbecued lemongrass pork first and everything from Pondicherry (a very unusual place) next.

    Definitely a meat dish. The french cooking is so rich and flavoraful. I would pick Poulet au poivron, fenouil et olives (chicken dish) or Daube de boeuf (beef dish), I never tried cooking a rabbit because I like to think of them as pets and not many stores carry them near me (at least I think so.)

    I would love to try the author's Pan Bagnat. Every recipe for it is different. I can;t wait to see the photos in this book. I have a couple of her books and the photos are exceptionally beautiful.

    There are too many to choose just one. Moules au cidre, crème brûlée passion et vanille, pots de crème au caramel, caramels au beurre salé arte au pommes… oh so many!

    Nothing like a whole roast chicken French recipe, especially if its for "les paresseux". ๐Ÿ™‚
