Cookbook giveaway – Cookie Love

Cookie LoveMindy Segal is serious about cookies. Her new cookbook Cookie Love is just what you would expect from an award-winning pastry chef and self-professed “cookie nerd.” Segal wants Cookie Love to be your “go-to, never-fail reference for turn-out-perfectly-every-time cookie recipes.”

You can learn more about the book (and view a recipe excerpt) in our author interview, and don’t forget to check out the events calendar to see where Segal’s book tour is headed.

We’re delighted to offer three copies of Cookie Love to EYB Members. Click on the Rafflecopter image below to view entry details and requirements. One of the entry options is to answer the following question on this blog post:

If you were stranded on a desert island and could only take one kind of cookie with you, which cookie would you choose?

Please note that you must enter the comment after signing into Rafflecopter or your entry won’t be counted. The contest ends May 5, 2015.

Oatmeal cookies, the first cookies I ever made and my dad was the target, I bet they where awfull but he ate them all with mmmm sounds. My first kitchen encounter and thank God a good one, now a days I still feel confident about feeding people and I'm sure it is because of that time when I was 6 and my dad ate the oatmeal cookies.

My own homemade Toll House chocolate chip cookies. No other chocolate chip cookies seem to taste quite as well. Plus, if I add some raisins, dates, nuts, quick oats and some shredded coconut, I have one great cookie to eat while sitting under the palm trees. The question doesn't say "lonely" desert island so there may be some local natives to share my cookies with. It might not be so bad being "stranded."
