The fresh and vibrant flavoRose Water & Orange Blossomsrs of Maureen Abood’s childhood, growing up as a Lebanese-American in Michigan, inspired her to launch her award-winning blog, Rose Water & Orange Blossoms. I am interested in learning more about Lebanese spices / spice blends. This cookbook looks gorgeous, and I've spent a fair amount of time in the author's hometown (Harbor Springs, MI). I love Lebanese food for its heavy emphasis on fresh veggies and yogurt / dairy dishes, as well as its desserts…would love to win this!

    all of it…!

My Sitteh died before she could give me all of her recipes.

I most remember the tinkling sound that her gold bangles made as she fed the chunks of meat into the grinder to make kibbeh.

Thank you for this blog and your recipes!

Being vegetarian, I would like to convert some of the items so I can eat them. I love tomato kibbie. But I can't quite figure out the spice mix for it.
