Food movies to watch during the holidays

Ratatouille's Ratatouille

We’re being inundated with lists this holiday season – some have information that is largely recycled, but some lists are really rather good and we’ll be linking to those occasionally. Case in point is this list from Epicurious, The 15 Best Food Movies to Stream for the Holidays (the links go to a description of the movies and documentaries at imdb ):

Happy relaxing! And if you have any to add, we’d love to hear them.

I recently watched Haute Cuisine on Netflix. Yes it was in French with subtitles but it was such a wonderful comic movie based on the true story of Mitterrand's spunky personal chef that soon I forgot about the French and just enjoyed the story.

Can't have a list like this without 'Babette's Feast'! The cinematography was so fantastic, you could all but reach out & grab a bite of Guinea Hen yourself. Course by course, the puritan diners were transformed by sugar and spice.

Seen anything interesting? Let us know & we'll share it!
