  • BigOven‘s 250,000+ Recipes and Grocery List (free, iOS, Android): more generic, not just for holidays, particularly useful for how to use up leftovers
  • Epicurious Recipes and Shopping Lists (free, iOS, Android): no-nonsense recipe app
  • KitchenPad Timer ($1.00, iOS); customize five burner and four oven timers with dish names, special ring tones, etc.
  • Time to Roast ($1.00, iOS): How to roast anything and everything, adapts to country specifics as to temperature and weights.

    I love the Kitchen Pad timer! It works really well. I love how the burners and the oven will "light up" when you have a dish on the timer!

    Kitchen pad is good. But for a big planned meal get:
    Cookery School Multi-Timer.
    It is a great tool. I don't understand why it hasn't shot into more popularity.
