2022 Holiday Gift Guide & Giveaway
November 13, 2022 by JennyThe holidays are fast approaching and I should have gotten this gift guide out to you sooner but it has been busy! Here are a few gift ideas for the cook/baker in your life.
We’ll start with my favorite LeCreuset. I am in love with Rhone – one of the newer colors from LeCreuset.
Rhone is rich and elegant and would look so beautiful on your holiday table. The latest color to be announced is Ganache, another rich chocolatey tone to drool over.
The Noel collection is festive and perfect for the holidays as well. LeCreuset also introduced the Heritage pie plate in an assortment of colors.
If you order US $250 worth of product from LeCreuset before November 22nd, enter the code THANKSGIVING at checkout and receive a petite set of salt and pepper mills at no additional cost.
Now on to my other favorite bake and cookware Emile Henry. Their products go from oven to table and come in a variety of gorgeous colors.
I love the Blue Flame color and this gorgeous casserole would be the star of the table serving your holiday side dishes – dressing, mac and cheese, gratins and more. Emile Henry is offering one of our Members in the US one of these casseroles in our giveaway below.
Other gift ideas from Emile Henry include: the cheese baker for holiday nibbling while decorating the tree or having a few friends over and beside the baker place an appetizer platter piled high with crostini, crudite and fruit. For all your holiday baking and entertaining needs, Emile Henry has gorgeous pie and tart bakeware, crème brûlée and ramekin dishes and a new focacia baker. For your favorite hostess, wrap up something from Emile Henry to show your appreciation.
Recently, I was introduced to HexClad, Gordon Ramsay’s cookware of choice. I was sent the 7 quart Hybrid Deep Sauté Pan/Chicken Fryer with Lid and it has become my go-to pan for all things frying and roasting. I love the size and quality of the pan. The HexClad products have a lifetime warranty, are metal utensil safe, non-toxic, dishwasher safe and will be with you in the kitchen for decades to come. The pan is stylish enough to bring your roasted chicken or meal of your choice to the table to serve. You can read more about this versatile pan here. HexClad is offering one of these pans to one US Member in our giveaway below.
Another one of their products that I’ve been using is their Vacuum Seal Stainless Steel Mixing and Storage Bowls. Perfect for mixing up batters, brines, salads and more – and the tight fitting lids – mean no spills and everything stays fresh.
For your serving and slicing of the holiday bird or roast, the 12 inch CUTLUXE Slicing Carving Knife is a winner. Forged in German steel with a lifetime warranty you cannot go wrong. Make easy work of all your slicing and carving duties all year long with this beautiful knife. Cutluxe is giving one of our Members in the US one of these knives in our giveaway below.
I have been using Souper Cubes for a while now. I received the one cup Souper Cubes as a gift and have used it in many ways. The obvious use – leftover broth and soup because often only a cup of stock for a sauce or a recipe is required and using this product avoids waste. I’ve frozen other liquids such as juices – when I have just a bit left over and know I can use it for a glaze or sauce but have nothing on the agenda immediately, I freeze it. I have used it to freeze individual portions of leftover mashed potatoes and side dishes. There are many sizes of SouperCubes for all your needs. Buy a few and if there is a new mom or someone who is ill in your circle of friends, make them soup for now and then fill up a Souper Cube up for their freezer so that they can grab an individual portion for later.
Crumble Crate: I wrote about this subscription service in September and want to remind our Members that a 1 month, 3 month or 6 month subscription to this service would please the bakers in your life. Crumble Crate gave us some coupon codes to use:
- EYB15 – subscriptions of three months plus – basically$100+
- EYB10 – individual boxes $39.99
You all know how much I love Hardcover Cook and can read more about their service in this original post. Hardcover Cook’s winter boxes will be shipping soon and there are many great choices if you wish to give someone a wonderful cookbook and ingredients. You may learn more about their quarterly subscription service here – the boxes cater to every need. I have ordered the two boxes shown above and have to stop myself from ordering more!
Of course, a gift certificate for Eat Your Books is always a thoughtful present for the cookbook lover/cook. If you need help purchasing a gift certificate, see this help section or email info@eatyourbooks.com.
