Italian Deli – Cookbook Giveaway
April 14, 2021 by JennyEnter our US/UK/AU/NZ giveaway to win one of three copies of The Italian Deli Cookbook: 100 Glorious Recipes Celebrating the Best of Italian Ingredients by Theo Randall.
Theo Randall is a British-born chef who specializes in Italian cuisine. He is currently the proprietor of Theo Randall at the InterContinental Hotel London Park Lane which is reopening on May 18th after COVID restrictions. He is perhaps best known for being awarded a Michelin star at The River Café in London. He has written two cookbooks prior to The Italian Deli Cookbook and both are happily in my library: Pasta and My Simple Italian.
His latest, The Italian Deli Cookbook, showcases delicious family recipes using favorite ingredients from, you guessed it, the Italian deli. Most of these ingredients are easily accessible in supermarkets now too. The book is organized by these ingredients: Eggs, Cheese, Salumi and so forth.
Randall promises it is worth splurging for these transformative ingredients which can make for easy meals or dinner party centerpieces. This same type of advice is often doled out by many chefs including Ina Garten. Basically, it is take quality help where you can get it. Let these specialty purchased items help you to create a beautiful cheese and meat board, buy a great loaf of crusty bread and utilize them to enhance a delicious pasta dish or entree.
With 100 recipes featuring the best cured meats, jarred vegetables, cheeses and more all used in original, simple recipes, this book can help you become the ultimate hostess. With stunning photography throughout, as well as a directory of classic delicatessens worldwide, Randall provides all the tools to elevate our cooking the easy way – but no one needs to know that – it is our little secret.
Our takes you inside this beautiful book and features the following
- Burrata with asparagus, pangrattato and sage
- Anchovy and sage fritters
- Crostini with broad bean purée and braised Swiss chard
