Bling for your Instant Pot
September 28, 2020 by DarcieIn just a few years, the Instant Pot and its clones have changed the way millions of people cook. The Instant Pot acts as several small appliances, as the names like 7-in-1 suggest. But even though it is already a multi-tasking unit, you can make it even more useful by purchasing one of the many accessories available to use with it. The Kitchn gives us a list of their 10 favorite Instant Pot accessories.

If you don’t like the plain stainless-and-black look, you can dress up your IP with decals that range from floral designs to Star Wars-inspired looks. Just search for “Instant Pot decals” on Etsy or Amazon and you’ll find dozens of designs (you can probably find matching decals for your KitchenAid mixer to coordinate your look).
Looks aren’t everything, which is why most of the accessories are very functional. There is a silicone steam diverter to help protect the undersides of your kitchen cabinets from steam, the popular air fryer lid, meal starter kits from Williams-Sonoma, and a silicone egg rack that holds nine eggs. This one is stackable so you could do 18 eggs at once in your IP, perfect for a large batch of deviled eggs.
The accessory I found most intriguing was a cutting board that lists times for various foods ranging from poultry to beans. I am also considering the round rolling cart (available from Target) that is the perfect size for holding an Instant Pot. We found something similar for nearly the same cost at Amazon. Since I store mine in the pantry, this seems like an ideal complement to my IP. If you have any accessories for your unit, let us know which is your favorite.
