There are other fun cookbook clubs around the interwebs and we’d like to highlight those for those members who might want to cook or bake something other than our choices. We will try to keep you up-to-date on these clubs’ choices by the beginning of each month.

- October 2020 – Big Book of Korean Cooking by Maangchi (or any of the Author’s books) and Quick and Delicious by Gordon Ramsay (or any of the Author’s recipes/books)
- November 2020 – Meals, Music, and Muses: Recipes from my African American Kitchen by Alexander Smalls and Flavor by Yotam Ottolenghi (or any of the Author’s books)
- December 2020 – Black Girl Baking by Jerrelle Guy and This Will Make it Taste Good by Vivian Howard
Salt & Spine is the leading podcast focused on telling the stories behind cookbooks through in-depth, in-person interviews with compelling authors. They have started a Cookbook Club that meets via Zoom at the end of the month (September’s club is set for 9/30 and features Repertoire: All the Recipes You Need).
- October’s featured author is Sonoko Sakai and her book Japanese Home Cooking: Simple Meals, Authentic Flavors
- November’s featured author is Nik Sharma and his new book The Flavor Equation: The Science of Great Cooking Explained: More Than 100 Essential Recipes
October and November’s selection was announced on October 8th. Falastin: A Cookbook by Sami Tamimi and Tara Wigley.
- October: 100 Cookies: The Baking Book for Every Kitchen, with Classic Cookies, Novel Treats, Brownies, Bars, and More by Sarah Kieffer

- October: Indian-ish: Recipes and Antics from a Modern American Family by Priya Krishna
- November: In Bibi’s Kitchen: The Recipes and Stories of Grandmothers from the Eight African Countries that Touch the Indian Ocean by Hawa Hassan
- December: Open Kitchen: Inspired Food for Casual Gatherings by Susan Spungen
- January, 2021: Ottolenghi Flavour by Yotam Ottolenghi, Ixta Belfrage and Tara Wigley
