Cooking Light subscriptions return
June 15, 2020 by DarcieWe were saddened to report in 2018 that Cooking Light magazine was ceasing subscription publication. Some of its content went to EatingWell Magazine and the website remained, but print issues were available at newsstands only. We recently learned some good news: Meredith Corp, Cooking Light’s parent, has just announced that the magazine will resume subscription service beginning in winter 2020.
The new Cooking Light will be a quarterly magazine with an an annual subscription cost of $20 (US) for four issues, with a two-year subscription ringing up at $30. You’ll also be able to find it at newsstands for a cost of $11.99 per issue.
Birmingham, Alabama-based editor Anne Cane will be directing the revamped Cooking Light, which includes CookingLight.com and its subscription-based diet plan. Doug Olson, president of Meredith Magazines, said in a statement: “As we create innovative ways to connect with consumers across channels, it’s exciting that the immersive experiences our print products offer continue to resonate with existing and new audiences.”
