- Hawaiian cuisine has been influenced from China, Japan, Portugal, Korea and the Philippines making it varied, vibrant and exciting.
- Chicken Katsu (Japanese), Lumpia (Filipino), Malasadas (Portuguese), Maui-style Kalbi short ribs (Korean) and Chow Fun (Chinese) are some examples of the range of recipes contained here. I was so excited that a recipe for Beef Jun is shared as it is one of my family’s favorites.
- Alana has made a brilliant debut effort in Aloha Kitchen with approachable, crave-worthy recipes and gorgeous photographs.
- I guarantee spending time with this book will have you longing for the islands.
