Bake for SYRIA, the cookbook and the cause
April 11, 2018 by Jenny#Bake
for SYRIA by Lily Vanilli will be released this June to
work alongside these amazing cookbooks #Cook for SYRIA and #Soup for SYRIA to continue to raise money
for relief efforts in Syria.
Contributors include: Anna Jones, Bill Granger, Dalia Dogmoch, Deliciously
Ella, Dominique Ansel, Helen Goh, Imad
Alarnab, Jamie
Oliver, Jasmine Hemsley, Jordan
Bourke, Lily Vanilli, Maggie Beer,
Melissa
Hemsley, Paul A Young, Rachel Khoo,
Thomasina
Miers, Yotam Ottolenghi and many more!
Another way to help this cause is to host a bake sale. The #CookforSYRIA
website has a bake-sale section with great information
to guide you in your bake sale efforts.
To create more buzz about this amazing project, I propose that we all tag our dessert photos with #bakeforsyria until June 5th when the book is released and thereafter include that tag on any recipes made from the book. I would also like to make #Bake for SYRIA our baking selection for The Eat Your Books Cookbook Club for September in order to give everyone time to obtain a copy of the book (should there be any delays in printing).
Share this post, pre-order this book (pre-order on Amazon.co.uk now and sign up for notifications Amazon.com). I’ve already ordered mine from the UK. Let’s make a difference.
