Observer Food Monthly celebrates its 200th issue

Observer Food MonthlyObserver Food Monthly is celebrating this January, and with good reason: this month it publishes its 200th issue. Befitting such a momentous occasion, the magazine is filled with recipes from celebrity chefs like Nigella Lawson, Nathan Outlaw, and Fergus Henderson.

For those who are unfamiliar with the publication, Observer Food Monthly is a supplement to the British Sunday newspaper The Observer. Published on the third Sunday of every month, it contains features on current food and drink issues, celebrity interviews, and recipes. The magazine is indexed in the EYB Library. Even if you are not able to get hold of the magazine, it is worth adding the magazine to your Bookshelf as almost every recipe is available online – 2,700 recipes from great writers.

January’s edition is filled with dishes appropriate for celebrating the anniversary. Nigella Lawson has a toasted marshmallow and rhubarb cake, Nathan Outlaw offers a monkfish recipe with rosemary and orange, Fergus Henderson provides an over-the-top duck dish, and Anna Jones provides a layered rainbow vegetable bake. The issue will be indexed soon, but for now you can access all of these recipes through the link above.

Congratulations to Observer Food Monthly for achieving such a significant milestone. We wish you a happy 200th issue, and hope for many more to come!

I don't usually like to comment about someone's looks, but she does appear rather pained in this image.
