Cookbook Giveaway – How to Hygge

How to Hygge: The Secrets of Nordic Living by Signe Johansen ushers the Scandinavian lifestyle trend right into our homes. Hygge (pronouced “HOO-gah”) is effortlessly orchestrating normal everyday events into special and meaningful occasions.     So as the name suggests, these recipes make me want to just stay home, bake, cook and drink with my family. I am about to have a brunch this weekend, and the Rhubarb Orange Muffins sound divine and so this would be the first thing for me to make… the second if you are interested is the Boozy, Malty, Creamy Hot Chocolate.     oh this book looks so lovely…some of the ones i especially love: rhubarb and orange muffins (man i love rhubarb), almond torte with lemon and elderflower, sticky ginger cake with clementine, goat's curd with green apple, pomegranate, and honey, smoked chicken with beets, grains, and lentils, hot christmas AND sizzling january, freya's flip…wow, those cocktails especially sound so wonderful.

    I very much enjoy books that combine recipes along with essays – I like hearing about other cultures or memoirs about someone's life.
