    I love a good greasy burger especially after a marathon! My topping choices change based upon my mood, but there is one served at a local joint that I really love. Its the Italiano and has fresh mozzarella, balsamic glazed sliced tomato, arugula, banana peppers and a garlic aioli.

    I like a lot of different things on a burger – the most important part of a burger for me is that the meat is good and the bun is right–strong enough so that it doesn't fall apart immediately, but not huge and too bready.

    My burgers have to have pickles!!!!! And of course lettuce, tomato, mayo. I like to stuff the peppers and onions right into the burger before cooking. So good!

    My mom made the best burgers! We had hamburgers and soup most every Saturday night. My favorite toppings, now not then, include homemade sriracha mayo, caramelized red onion relish and cowboy candy. …not all at the same time.

    Depends on the burger, really. For a regular beef burger I'd prefer crisp bacon, mushrooms, my own mustard, and maybe a lettuce leaf.

    Generally, I love bacon, blue cheese, tomato jam and arugula. However, the best burgers I have sampled are from from a restaurant in Las Vegas called Bachi Burger:
    *Black & Green Burger:
    American Wagyu Grass Fed Beef, Sautéed Mushrooms, Spinach, Bacon, Point Reyes Blue Cheese, Roasted Garlic. *Kikiʼ’s Burger was also quite good, but the wagyu beef patty was unbelievable:
    Angus Beef, Sautéed Shiitake, Enoki & Eryngii Mushrooms, Caramelized Bacon, Sweet Onion Marmalade, Gruyere Cheese, Garlic Chili Aioli

    American cheese, ketchup, tomatoes, iceberg lettuce, Lay's potato chips, pickle chips, thinly sliced red onion, on a brioche or potato bun.

    It all starts with a good medium ground chuck… You need the fat. Worcestershire is added to the meat, along with a little cracked pepper & kosher salt. After loosely shaping the patty, blue cheese is added the the center, then the patty is gently reshaped to get the cheese buried inside. Worcestershire is a must. A slice of Gruyere is added in the lasted 1-2 mins on the grill. Once grilled to just medium, and a potato roll is lightly toasted, romaine is placed on the bottom, followed by the Burg, my homemade tomato-chili-pineapple salsa is spread over the burg, a red onion slice, a tomato slice, and my special thin bread & butter pickles are layered on top, followed by a 2nd romaine leaf. The bun gets some mayo & the burg gets closed… yummmm!

    Nice juicy patty seasoned with rosemary, salt, and pepper. Top with crisp tomato and lettuce and a round of sweet onion. Bun lightly fried to toast the inside, brushed with butter on top to soften. Slice of pickle, kind of warm and soft. Side of salted fries and a cold fizzy cola!

    Depends on the day, Could be just ketchup or with little mayo, maybe thousand island, or mostly blue cheese dressing hubby makes that is just perfect on top burger, bacon, tomato, iceberg, my wedge salad on top of my burger, or Turkey burger with cranberry relish and some mayo….

    So many burgers! I love them plain with cheese or with mustard and pickles, Jerk burgers, Teriyaki Burgers with pineapple slices, BBQ burgers with crisp onion straws, and don't forget patty melts. Those are burgers, right? Bun tacos are sort of burgers, but my favorite at home are smashed cheeseburgers.

Topped with sweet red onion rings coated in a beer batter, with a side of Sweet Potato chips or fries, a sauce of Mayonnaise mixed with Grey Poupon Mustard
