    Oh man, so many recipes sound good and so many new ingredients I've not tried before, great combination! A couple recipes stood out though, the Red pepper and Walnut spread, the yogurt recipes, and the artichoke bottoms would be first on the list to try.

    I have this cookbook out from the library right now, and am making the fish fillets with aleppo spices for dinner tonight. Next week I'm making the freekeh with rice and lamb, and the red lentil and lemon soup, but have so many other recipes bookmarked.

    What an amazing cookbook. I just purchased seeds for some Syrian Peppers and Eggplants that were collected there, it would be great to use them in a recipe when I grow them this year. I'd love to try out some of the Pomegranate recipes like the Pomegranate Molasses since I have 2 Pomegranate trees in my backyard.
