Cookbook Giveaway – The London Cookbook

    I have been to London and the best meal I had was the Fish & Chips at Borough Market , the runner up would have to be the full English breakfast we had at our host's home.

    This may sound weird, but it was the cottage cheese with my English Breakfast at the Radisson Edwardian Hotel. Best cottage cheese ever!

    I have been to London but unfortunately only when I was a teen and thought meat pies were the best thing ever!

    Only made it to the airport outside London on my way to Scotland. In Scotland my favorite food thing was the bottle of whiskey on the breakfast buffet to douse your oatmeal with if you needed a bit of armor against the drizzle.

    I was pregnant when I visited London a number of years ago. I could not get enough of the full english breakfast, no morning sickness thank goodness. I was always too tired at the end of the day for dinner but we stayed at a bed and breakfast that served the most delicious drinking chocolate every morning.

    I was in London years ago but I remember one of the best meals being at an Indian Restaurant. I have no idea where it was or what it's name was but the food was great.

    Last year at The Clarence – great pub, great food. Their pumpkin soup was amazing and they do a Ploughman's that is ten times better than any other pub.

    Definitely not the pasta I had at the Fashion Cafe in 1997 – holy overpriced! But generally, the food I've had in London has been lovely!

    Yes I have been to London, but it was long before I was a foodie and I cannot remember a single meal! I remember some amazing ones in the Lake District and a very starchy high tea in Edinburgh lol….

    I have been to London, but it was over 20 years ago. I had a difficult time finding a good meal! Was on a budget, didn't know the city, it was cold — I remember wandering around looking for places in my Lonely Planet Guidebook and not being able to find them.

    I've never been (except for changing planes at Heathrow), but would love to go. I have cousins in London, and my great-grandparents came from south of there, from the Brighton area. I'd love to try the pub food there. And sticky toffee pudding.
