Cookbook giveaway – Morito

MoritoMorito, a tiny restaurant tucked in to a small space in the heart of London’s Exmouth Market, has been serving delicious and innovative tapas and mezze for over three years. Sam and Sam Clark’s “little gem of a tapas bar” has attracted critical acclaim and long lines of patrons, and now you can enjoy the tapas bar’s small plates even if you can’t visit the restaurant with Morito, the first cookbook from the restaurant.

We’re delighted to offer three copies of this cookbook to contest winners.

Read the EYB story about the cookbook, which has received positive reviews, and a bit about authors Sam and Sam Clark.

For your chance to win a copy, just answer the following question: What is your favorite tapas menu item?

Additional rules are:

  • Please make certain you have signed in to the EYB website (you don’t have to be a paid member). This ensures that we have your email address and can get in contact with you.
  • The giveaway will expire in 4 weeks on June 11, 2014.

This contest is now closed. The three lucky winners, selected by random number generator, are matag, mfl, and EGod.

The most lovely thing about tapas is that you don't have to choose a favorite, you can have a bit of everything!
Just some chorizo or olives is lovely, but if I really have to choose I'd take little meatballs in sauce.

I had beets for the first time at a small tapas bar in Oxford. I had been hesitant to try beets before, having seen them only on salad bars in preserved or pickled form. Its a good thing I had passed on beets before because those beets were phenomenal and instilled in me the view that any ingredient, cooked right, could really sing.

Too much choice! The simplest ones are often the best. It may sound boring, but I love cold tortilla. Or just a plate of really good jamon with some pan con tomate. Or, if at the seaside, tiny clams simply sauteed with garlic.
