I do find the notes on recipes useful; the more the better! It would be useful to have some way of indicating approval or disapproval of a given note, a "thumbs up" or "thumbs down" clickable icon, for instance.

The notes are one of my favorite parts of EYB. A thumbs up icon would be great because some people are posting really detailed and useful reviews, and I would like them to know how appreciated it is! I am less sure about a thumbs down icon. I feel like that would decrease notes, make for a less friendly vibe, and not ultimately improve usefulness because there wouldn't necessarily be an explanation of the thumbs down.

I agree with TrishaCP wholeheartedly; public disapproval of a note accomplishes nothing worth the chilling effect, but the thumbs-up could alert cooks to very useful info.
