The Kitchen Pantry CookbookHere at EYB we’re all for encouraging our members to indulge their passion for cookbooks. To that end, we’ve created a program to give our members a chance to win a copy of new, exciting cookbooks that have just been published.     I have become completely enamored of avocados on any burger. Doesn't matter whether it's sliced or mashed up a la guacamole–either way, it's replaced mayo as my go-to creamy condiment!

    I love harissa paste on everything! With the salmon I would mix the harissa through a little aioli, the vege burger i would mix the harissa through some minted yoghurt and the beef burger I would mix the harissa through the cooked onions. Yum!

    I am failing this simple test I fear. I top my burger with salt and the top half of my homemade burger bun. I want to taste the freshly ground meat, not salad components. Now, I do think having a dill pickle just off to the side is a bonus.

    Being from the South originally, I love anything pickled. So, a stock of pickled red onion on hand is always necessary and on top of my veggie burgers!

    I love burgers, and in our home they are generally topped with home-made relish or chutney, avocado slices and plenty of balsamic caramelised onion. Some very crispy bacon is also a very popular addition.

    One of my favorite things on a burger is a pickled Jalapeno peppers or a red pepper relish . I make these every year . If you love heat you will love these on your burgers.

    Need mustard AND mayo on the bun! Old NC style calls for cole slaw (with more mayo) and chili. Hard to beat the traditional lettuce, tomato and sliced raw sweet onions topped with ketchup.
