Best of the Best Cookbook List 2017
December 21, 2017 by JaneEach year, Jane collects the “best cookbooks” lists from a wide variety of sources, ranging from television to radio to bloggers to newspapers – over 300 lists in total. After aggregating and ranking 815 books, Jane compiled the winners into EYB’s “Best of the Best” cookbooks of 2017.
This year Yotam Ottolenghi is back in the top cookbook spot for Sweet, co-written with pastry chef Helen Goh. Sweet brings fresh, evocative ingredients, exotic spices and complex flavourings – including fig, rose petal, saffron, aniseed, orange blossom, pistachio and cardamom – to indulgent cakes, biscuits, tarts, puddings, cheesecakes and ice cream in over 100 innovative recipes. The EYB Sweet Ottolenghi Cookbook Club is working through this title.
Check out the Best of the Best page for all the other winners plus charts by country, and by specialty, including Vegetarian & vegan books, Drinks books, and Food writing books.
