Alton Brown – Food for Thought – Giveaway

Alton Brown’s latest book, Food for Thought – Essays and Ruminations is a collection of personal essays. The author is touring and his remaining dates can be found on our Calendar.

From cameraman to chef, musician to food scientist, Alton Brown’s diverse career has made an indelible mark on culinary entertainment. His groundbreaking Food Network shows – including the creator-hosted “Good Eats” and his roles on “Iron Chef America” and “Cutthroat Kitchen” – have inspired generations of home cooks with their blend of science, history, and accessible techniques.

In Food for Thought, Brown offers his most candid insights yet, weaving compelling anecdotes from both personal and professional realms with thoughtful observations on the culinary world. Readers journey alongside him through memorable experiences – from wrestling a dumpster full of dough to navigating culinary cultural appropriation to his relentless quest for the perfect roast chicken.

Both refreshingly honest and rich with behind-the-scenes stories, this title speaks to anyone who appreciates not just food itself, but the passionate individuals who dedicate their lives to preparing it.

I received two copies of this book – and have just started reading it last night. The additional copy I would like to offer in the giveaway below.
