Mother’s Day recipe ideas
March 10, 2021 by DarcieMother’s Day is this Sunday in the UK (it’s May 9 in the U.S., Australia, and New Zealand). A great way to honor the person who likely did most of the cooking for you during your childhood is to make a special treat for her on this special occasion. Whether that means a full meal (if you are able to safely gather together) or a treat like pie or cake that you can deliver, your mother – or anyone who deserves recognition on this date – will appreciate your efforts.

If cooking or baking inspiration eludes you, indexed blog Great British Chefs has assembled a collection of Mother’s Day recipes to give you ideas on what to make. You can find additional Mother’s Day recipe collections at BBC Good Food, delish, Olive Magazine, and on Jamie Oliver’s website. For those of us who are celebrating in May, having these resources available now means there is no excuse for not preparing a special dish for the wonderful women who have made a difference in our lives.
