Cookbook giveaway – Quick and Easy Spanish Recipes
May 5, 2016 by Darcie
Three generations of Spaniards have learned to cook
through Simone Ortega’s books on gastronomy, which have sold
millions of copies nationwide. She is considered one of the
foremost authorities on traditional Spanish cooking and her
daughter Inés Ortega has followed in her mother’s footsteps. She
worked with her mother for many years and is an established and
highly regarded food writer in her own right.
One of Simone’s best-known works is 1080 Recipes, first published in 1972. That book is a comprehensive collection of traditional and authentic Spanish recipes, covering everything from tortilla to bacalao. Inés and Simone updated the book in subsequent publications over the years. Now the best and quickest recipes from 1080, along with recipes from sister volume The Tapas Book, have been compiled into a new book, Quick and Easy Spanish Recipes. Each of its 100 recipes has been tested and is accompanied by a photograph. You can get a sneak peek into the cookbook with two recipe excerpts.
We’re delighted to offer five copies of Quick and Easy Spanish Recipes to EYB Members worldwide. One of the entry options is to answer the following question in the comments section of this blog post:
Which essential Spanish recipe would you most like to master?
Please note that you must be signed into the Rafflecopter contest before posting the comment or your entry won’t be counted. If you are not already a Member, you can join at no cost. The contest ends June 2, 2016.
