Our friends over at Bread in Five brought our attention to one of their recent posts that’s getting a lot of buzz, Crock Pot Bread Baking (Fast Bread in a Slow Cooker). Besides the advantage of being able to keep your oven off during hot summer days, it is actually a faster way to bake bread since the rising time is included in the baking. And, as they point out, “You could even amaze your friends at work by baking a loaf under your desk!” Give it a try and let us know if you like it.
