The L.A. Times recently reviewed Cookbook Cafe – a do it yourself cookbook platform that allows anyone to become a cookbook author. And once you’ve created it, you can publish the cookbook at Bakespace or on iTunes. According to the Times, “the platform allows users to create both a searchable and interactive e-book and an iPad app that works across a variety of devices, no charge.” While the app seems particularly appropriate for community cookbooks, or cookbooks being published as fund raisers, it works for anyone who wants to publish their recipes for friends, family, or the public at large.
