Best Selling Books of 2025
January 29, 2026 by JaneLast month our friends at cookbook stores around the world gave us their picks for their favorite books of 2025 which we then included in our Best of the Best of 2025. Now we asked them for their top sellers of 2025 (published in any year).
It would be interesting to compare these charts to non-specialist store/online retailer book sales but it is very hard to get hold of book sales for an entire country.
Amazon UK produced their top sellers of the year (across all genres) and the highest cookbook was Eat Yourself Healthy by Jamie Oliver at #4. Jamie also has the next cookbook in the chart – Easy Air Fryer at #25. Live to Eat by Emily English is at #27 (she also has So Good at #48) ; Mary 90 at #38; Pinch of Nom Slow Cooker at #45 and Pinch of Nom Air Fryer at #49. Another 3 books in the 50-100 places gives a total of 10 food and drink books in the top 100, a big drop from last year’s 19. Presumably almost everyone in the UK now has an air-fryer cookbook since the number of those in the top 100 has dropped from six last year to two this year.
Amazon USA top sellers of 2025 list doesn’t have a cookbook appearing until #65 – From Crook to Cook by Snoop Dogg (a 7 year old title) and The Complete Cookbook for Young Chefs by America’s Test Kitchen Kids (another 7 year old) is at #100. And that is it! Rather different to the UK’s top sellers.
Please do remember when buying cookbooks to support your local cookbook store, if you are lucky enough to have one. Most of the stores listed below are also doing mail order and gift vouchers so you can order from them even if you are not local (click the store name to get the contact info).
