Changes to Recipe Types
March 25, 2010 by JaneWe are doing a major overhaul of the Recipe types as we have found over time that we have needed to add and refine categories. There will be a interim period while we re-categorize the thousands of recipes already entered for each altered category so please bear with us if you cannot find everything you expect in a category. The big one we are working on is separating pastas into Pasta, doughs & sauces; Pasta, baked; and Pasta, filled. We are also splitting Bread & rolls into savory and sweet. So many conundrums come up – are flatbreads with a topping a pizza? (We decided yes). Are popovers a roll? (Again a yes). What recipe type is French toast? (We decided none). If you come across any categorizations you disagree with, please let us know.
