Amazon Prime Day reminder

Amazon Prime members, set your alarms. Tomorrow (July 11) is Amazon Prime day. That means tremendous deals sitewide, including cookbooks and kitchen equipment (time to get that Instant Pot!). You don’t have to wait until midnight to take advantage of the sale, because some of the deals begin tonight at 9:00 p.m. US Eastern Time. Amazon promises “hundreds of thousands of deals, new deals starting as often as every five minutes, and special offers across everything included with Prime-from music and video to reading and voice shopping.” And, of course, cookbooks. A special code that you can utilize during these sales is PRIMEBOOKS17 which will take $5 off of book purchases over $15.00. 

If you plan to take advantage of any of the Amazon Prime deals – whether cookbooks or something else – we ask that you please navigate to Amazon through any of the “Buy Book” links on our website. If you do that, we will get a small affiliate fee for everything you buy on Amazon in the 24 hours after you click through. This will not add to the cost of any items you purchase. In lieu of going through the Buy Book link – you can access our affiliate store at Amazon through these links Amazon US and Amazon UK with the same result. 

Don’t have Prime? No problem you can sign up for Prime using these links Amazon US and Amazon UK  at a special discount during this event. Signing up for Prime using our links also assists EYB.

All fees that we earn help us index even more cookbooks, websites, and magazines, and make website improvements. You do not have to purchase the cookbook that you use to click through to Amazon, and you can use any “Buy Book” link on the EYB site. Happy shopping!

    annmartina – yes – any purchases at all on Amazon – if you click through our BUY BOOK link – it goes toward our efforts

    Maybe shop local instead.
    Your independent bookstore would love to see you, and you can page through the book to decide it is the right choice for you,

    amc – we do promote independent cookbook stores through our directory of cookbook stores (accessed in the right column on the Home Page). We also get best seller lists and best cookbook lists at the end of every year from the cookbook stores. However in this instance we are asking members to link from EYB to Amazon for any Prime Day purchase, not just cookbooks. All the revenue EYB makes goes back into the running costs of the site – so the more we can make, the more books we can index.
