Food and film – a winning combination
September 7, 2019 by DarcieIf you are a fan of the movies as well as a food lover, and if you live in or near Boulder, Colorado, you will love the following news. The seventh annual Flatirons Food Film Festival will take place in Boulder on October 10-13.
The festival features four days of films plus food and wine tasting events with acclaimed local and national chefs and Master Sommeliers. The event also includes lectures, art exhibitions, discussions regarding the #MeToo movement in the restaurant industry, and more.
Films showing at the event include the recent documentary about Diana Kennedy, two episodes of The Migrant Kitchen, SOMM 3, The Pollinators, Tazzeka, Cook Off, and an anthology of several short films focused on food.
Speakers at the festival come from a diversity of backgrounds and include Stef Ferrari, cookbook author, and three-time Emmy-winning, James Beard Award-nominated producer of The Migrant Kitchen series, as well as Senior Editor of Life & Thyme.
